We enjoyed being able to spoil Palmer Middle School‘s Teacher of the Year, Jordan Hazard, through participation in the Cobb Chamber’s Teacher of the Year Blitz! This program was developed to honor great educators by showering them with gifts of appreciation for both them and their classroom. We had so much fun putting together a basket full of Mr. Hazard’s requested favorites and a few personalized extras. The basket included printer paper, cardstock, dry erase markers, pencils, pens, highlighters, heat press vinyl, drinks, snacks, teacher-themed items and so much more. Taking part in the Cobb Chamber’s Teacher Blitz was our way of celebrating Cobb’s outstanding teachers and their many achievements. Seeing Mr. Hazard’s reaction to the basket of goodies was priceless!
The Teacher of the Year (TOTY) Blitz is an opportunity for the business sector to meet important needs for teachers, their classrooms, and school community. Thank you to the Cobb Chamber for giving us the opportunity to recognize the positive and lasting impact made by each teacher and we look forward to participating again next year!
