The Chisel Challenger takes the spotlight in the Winter 2024 Edition of the National Fitness Trade Journal

CHISEL Where Strength, Cardio and Versatility Become One!  (see article PAGE 6-7 Winter 2024 Edition of the National Fitness Trade Journal)

Fitness trends have changed drastically for the better in the last few years. Fitness enthusiasts of all ages and abilities have become smarter and more informed about what it takes to achieve the results they are looking for. Ask any equipment supplier or facility operator and they will tell you Most gym goers are no longer satisfied with spending a workout vegging out on a single piece of cardio. The continued rise and constant evolution of multi-modality training in a single workout is here to stay.

Whether it’s the increased participation in HIIT classes or the majorresurgence in strength training, it is undeniable that fitness consumers more than ever want results from spending their valuable time in the gym. That’s why savvy and creative trainers and facility operators continue to find ways to offer their customers more efficient and comprehensive training options. These hyper-training programs are designed to incorporate as much skeletal musculature as possible into a single workout session with multiple intervals of Intensity spikes. Makes sense, right… getting more done by moving and loading the body in as many ways as safely possible. Better yet, toggle between strength and heart jacking cardio to optimize muscle building and calorie burn. Many of these super-efficient type of workouts have been created, just not on a single machine. That is until now.

The CHISEL Challenger machine has solved this problem. A single machine where you can quickly switch between strength and cardio by concurrently pushing and pulling with all four limbs. Think about that for a second. There are obviously many products where you can pull and push with your arms but name another machine where you can “aul” with one leg while
“pushing” with the other. This previously non-existent, synchronized pushing and pulling of all four limbs creates optimal leverage, optimal power output, and optimal exercise efficiency. Combining this patented motion with a patent-pending bi-directional frear magnetic resistance that can instantly change the exercise tron to high-speed cardio, so grind it out strength repetition has created a new product category.

To verify the physiological effectiveness of training on Challenger, the CHISEL team sent a unit to the human performance lab at Wichita State University headed by Dr. Jeremy Patterson. As of press time, the study has not been composted, but Dr. Patterson says preliminary results indicate exceptional efficiency of motion. The highest angle position quickly increases heart rate, and the middle angle positions or benefits similar to running or stair climbing but without the impact. Perhaps most interesting is the lower angle more prone positions where testing indicates the motion has the muscular and acrotic benefits very similar to swimming in that there is more muscle lengthening resulting in better body balance.*
