Innovative Fitness Donates to The Center for Children & Young Adults

Thanks to a recommendation from the Cobb Community Foundation, Innovative Fitness was able to fill a need at the Center for Children & Young Adults (CCYA)!

Since 1981, The Center for Children & Young Adults, located in Marietta, GA has provided a safe home for youth who have been abused, neglected, and/or abandoned by their caregivers. Originally created as an emergency shelter, CCYA transitioned to long term housing in 2000. Their three-building campus offers four residential programs in a dormitory setting for up to 42 youth at one time in need of shelter, treatment, care, and guidance.

CCYA offers a variety of youth development activities as well as supportive housing services focused on teaching important life skills to better prepare for future independence. The CCYA campus is also home to the Blooming with Possibilities Garden where the residents cultivate, harvest, and prepare meals with their home-grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
