Serving Families in Cobb County through the Table on Delk Service Project
For the month of February, we provided 40 sack lunches to children at The Table on Delk. Not only were we able to provide lunches to kids in need, but we also decorated each bag with love and positive messages. We had so much fun decorating each bag with uplifting quotes and fun games! The bags were filled with a sandwich, chips, fruit snacks, apple sauce, juice box, and a granola bar.
The Table on Delk is a non-profit organization that serves women and children who are victims of sexual exploitation. The Table sees over 1800 individuals each year who are often trapped into a lifestyle where they feel their lives don’t matter.
The Table on Delk was founded in 2016 and is open 6-days a week. Volunteers can serve in a wide variety of services including outreach volunteer, sack lunches, laundry care, Bible studies, and prayer.
