Match Magic: Cobb Community Foundation Raises $808,000 for Local Nonprofits
The Cobb Community Foundation’s Match Magic campaign was an undeniable triumph, raising an astounding $808,000 in total for community impact.
Twenty-five local nonprofits collaborated with the Foundation to collect $700,000 from generous donors. These funds were boosted by a $108,000 match pool, with nonprofits receiving a proportional share of the match money based on their fundraising efforts, capped at ten percent of the total.
This year’s campaign marks a significant leap from the $71,000 raised during last year’s smaller-scale initiative. The funds will support a diverse range of causes, from arts and culture organizations like the Georgia Symphony to essential food and nutrition programs such as the HOPE Family Resource Center.
Spanning from November 19 to December 3, this campaign exemplifies the power of collective giving and the remarkable generosity of the Cobb community.
